After over 30 years spent in the business finance industry I finally took the decision to jump off the gravy train and try and do something with a little more "soul" attached to
it. With a lifelong love of writing, a varied list of interests and hobbies and an opinion on most things, journalism seemed the natural place to land.
Although historically
my writing had been on the creative side (poetry, personal family stories and satire) I completed a diploma course in Freelance Journalism which was invaluable in opening my eyes to the other side where less is best and where the flowery sentence will
wither and die!
Of course there is room for both and I fully intend to spread myself across them. Since heading into the unknown I have managed to secure a variety of work
such as updating company blog sites, providing web content across numerous industries, website development and editing.
I am of course happy to consider any writing projects
so do get in touch if words are failing you.
